Rumors, rumors and more rumors. Of course, all these rumors typically mean good things for my bank account because I often put money aside for a rumored product release and then feel a little richer when the rumored product never materializes.
That said, I am normally a Mac guy, well aside from my netbooks because I am not in the whole hackintosh scene. But even as a Mac guy there is something that I have always loved about ThinkPads.
Which is good potentially good news for me because the latest rumor is suggesting that we could see a Lenovo ThinkPad netbook on January 5, 2010.
The details are not yet complete, but seem to be trickling in. So far, other than the expected release date, the netbook is rumored to be going by the name of the ThinkPad X100e. Unfortunately, we do not have any word on specs.
Of course, that release date does coincide with CES 2010, which means there is a real possibility that this is the real deal. It also means that I should be able to get a few minutes hands on time to decide if this will be a worthy purchase.
Once again, assuming this is accurate, lets just hope that the X100e will be running Windows 7 as opposed to Windows XP.
