Jolicloud, the quick booting, often updated Linux based operating system designed for netbooks has once again seen a nice addition in terms of new apps.
I have said it before, and will say it again, Jolicoud is a great netbook OS and has become my default Linux choice. Of course, it is still in private beta, which means you will have to be invited in to give it a try. Thankfully that can be done by clicking the “Get an invitation” button on the Jolicloud website.
Anyway, getting back to this most recent update, it seems that it was for the most part about audio and video.
According to the update log, it looks like Jolicloud users will now have the Hulu Desktop, Awdio, The Auteurs, Foursquare, Mayomo, Spectives and Daytum available for download and use.
Additionally there were also a few others that were added such as Digg Labs, Readfresh, Tineye, Foller.me, Threadsy, The Urban Dictionary and Dibert.
