I have said it before and I will say it again, I am an operating system junkie, I love to play around and see what things can do and how well they work. This goes so far as I once purchased an OLPC laptop just so I could play around with the operating system. Not a really bright move and thankfully curious users will be able to check out the software without having to make a big purchase because the Sugar UI is available for download and be run from a USB drive.
The operating system, which in this form is being called Sugar on a Stick. The download can be found at Sugar Labs and will require a 1GB flash drive.
Basically, the Sugar UI is fun to play with, but personally I would not even consider it to be even a possible replacement to your current system. In other words, no matter how much you despise your current Windows or Linux installation, Sugar is not going to be a replacement. That said, it is still worthy of a download and a little time to play.
