It was back in late May when we saw the announcement from Dell and how an optional TV tuner could be ordered with the Mini 10 netbook. Now, judging from the recent rash of complaints it looks like those who ordered early have received their order — or at least part of their order.
It appears that the TV tuner, which is internal requires an external antenna and sadly that has not been included with some shipments, which means many users are not able to take use their $50 tuner.
It should be interesting to see how Dell handles this, will they just require users to use their own antenna, or an existing cable or satellite connection, or will they make some adjustments and begin to ship an antenna as part of the option.
