Airport security is just one of those hassles of traveling. In our post-9/11 world however, the only alternative is to just stay home, so we all put up with it. One of the keys to making it a little less painful is carrying your gear in the right bag. While some netbooks come with a sleeve, for serious travel, a dedicated bag is preferred. Realize that a standard notebook case will be w-a-y too big for that tiny netbook, and having it rattle around in the case is not compatible with longevity.
I just spotted the Solo Checkfast Instant Messenger Bag. It looks quite good for travel, and an added bonus is that it is affordable with a $35 price tag. I especially like that it was designed to be “TSA friendly” which menas that the case can be unfolded to allow for inspection without removing it from the case.
