When I think of Wal-Mart, I have to admit that I don’t think of computers nor electronics. Groceries or housewares, sure, but it wouldn’t be my first choice retailer for a netbook. However, plenty of other consumers have not thought about it this way. While ASUS had the top selling netbook crown wrestled from them, some are attributing this to the Acer netbook coming into the big box retailer. While I wouldn’t expect to see an ASUS “Sam’s Choice Edition” anytime soon, they are hoping that ASUS’ sales will take a bump. Here’s to making grocery shopping fun again when I can toss a netbook into my cart alongside my Pop-Tarts.
