In our instant messaging lives, there is ne electronic speed bump that no one likes. This is to wait for our operating system to boot up so we can use our computer. For years now, we all accepted this, but now LG is building a netbook around a novel solution.
It’s known as Splashtop. The idea is that the hardware can be booted into a faster loading, but limited OS that only allows basic functionality. Then for the more advanced tasks, Windows will load. LG will introduce the X120 to feature this technology, and are redubbing it “Smart On.”
